The Shower in the bathroom is awesome!!!

The carpets could do with a good clean or replacing and rug in kitchen is a trip hazard for me and not hygienic, no garden

The location is perfect to see the peak district. The cottage was very comfortable & clean.

Impossible to change, but I do think people should be made aware of how steep the stairs are. Also we booked as a 2 bedroom cottage but couldn't see on website the second bedroom is a single room, it would have been good to know at booking.

"Lovely little cottage in quaint village"

Loved the cottage, the supply of wood for the fire, the village and access to walks.

Would have liked to be able to clean up better - hoover and mop/bucket would have been great.

Very nice location for good walks with the dog, also very quiet and peaceful.

Not a criticism, just be careful if you are coming out of the close as you are immediately on the main road with no pavement on this side. Some traffic went past quite quickly!

"Perfect cosy cottage"

The cottage was perfect. Peaceful, easy parking, well-equipped kitchen, gorgeous bathroom with view, and a log burner for cosy evenings. A Christmas tree and some decorations had been put in the cottage making it very welcoming. There are no shops in the town, but we stocked up well on food before arriving, so not a problem. Bakewell is just 15 mins drive away and Matlock not far either. Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway. We certainly hope to return. Thank you!

It was exceptionally cold weather during our stay and we could have done with a blanket or two to go on top of the duvet at night. Other than that it was all great.
