Carpenters Cottage, Elton in the Peak District

Excellent location for local walks eg Robin Hood Stride. Well provisioned cottage with everything you need for comfort & self catering.

Perfectly situated for great walks in beautiful surrounding countryside. Spotlessly clean, well-equipped & cosy log burner added up to a relaxing few days away.

We had stayed at the cottage on two previous occasions so knew that we would have a lovely relaxing time. We love the peaceful location, log burner and views out across the countryside. The owner was very accommodating about adjusting the dates due to a family emergency which came up so we are very grateful we didn’t have to miss out on our stay.

Comfortable, clean and easy to get to.

There was no garden for the pet which wasn’t clear in the property page.

The cottage was clean , warm , and comfortable, had everything that most people could need , has lovely views , and is in a picturesque, small village , well placed for Peak District exploration . We wouldn't hesitate to stay again .

It was small, cosy, neat and tidy with excellent facilities. Shower pressure was wonderful. The location was terrific and the views outstanding. We were made to feel very welcome and the real fire topped it off perfectly.

That I had to leave.

The cottage was very clean and homely, in a lovely peaceful village. The bath with the view out the window was lovely and the range of books to read and dvds to watch was great for us! We really enjoyed it and would love to come back again :)
