"Unique Machiya Experience"

A unique experience in a beautiful traditional townhouse in a real neighborhood. A variety of sleeping rooms and two new full bathrooms make the machiya house more comfortable for a family than a traditional hotel. Kitchen had all the amenities and everything was very clean. Beds were very comfortable, including the futons on the tatami mats! Would definitely stay here again! Service experience was excellent from booking to checkout.

The nearest train station was a bit of a walk. The washer/dryer combo machine wasn't very efficient.

Very beautiful property, Pincode makes it easy for people to come and go. Bathrooms were lovely.

"Loved Kyoto and our choice to stay in a traditional Machiya house"

Beautiful, traditional property with all the mod cons giving a real sense of Japanese culture. It was the second Machiya house we stayed in and the staff were super accommodating and supportive so rate the company too.
