Location a little tricky without transport

Tolles japanisches renoviertes Haus, sehr gepflegt und super ausgestattet, dazu gemütlich! Ein echtes Highlight unserer Reise, in einem solchen Haus zu wohnen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen. Hier gab es alles, was man sich vorstellen könnte! Tolles Onsen mit Blick auf den kleinen japanischen Garten. Die Hausherrin Rachel ist eine sehr nette, offene und sympathische Frau. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

A stunning traditional Japanese house, perfectly located for exploring Kyoto. Spacious, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed including a serene stone bath overlooking a charming little Japanese garden. Rachel, the wonderful hostess, went above and beyond always available to help, call taxis, and share local tips and hidden gems.

Honestly, the only downside was having to leave such a special place.

The perfect place to stay in Kyoto. Extremely attentive hosts. Feeling home abroad.

Nothing, everything was beyond expectation

What a location, we had the most amazing stay here! Rachel and Ryoko are incredible hosts, and they helped us with any questions and requests we had, including both receiving and forwarding our luggage for us. The house was packed with snacks and beverages when we arrived, which was so nice after a long day of traveling. Absolutely the highlight of our almost 3-week trip!

Host communicated well and met us on arrival

The location was a little far away from everything and needed to catch a bus or taxi to restaurants etc.

Everything about this place was special nestled in a beautiful location and moreover a Great host who tends to all your need Rachel is the star we loved it
