The whole experience

I liked how relaxing the place was. The location was perfect, so many birds! Was very private, cooking facilities and kitchen was great. The bath house was so lovely! Cabin was cute and comfy. I really liked how sustainable it was, lovely stay :)

We loved the big bath. There was plenty of firewood, and as we were holidaying on a very wet cool weekend, we sat by an open fire in the outdoor shelter. We were really impressed with the bambooloo composting toilet. The bird life was lovely. Very comfy bed.

Loved the bath this was a special treat. Listening to moreporks at night.

The mattress and pillows could be better, and polyester sheets were not expected given the natural setting.

The serenity was amazing. And the facilities were excellent for the price, and for it being an off-grid experience. Plenty of dry wood to have the outdoor fire/bbq going for every meal, and other cooking options available such as gas burner and gas bbq's. The fire in the bedroom was incredible - pumped out the heat! The indoor yet outdoor bath was beautiful, water nice and hot, and I loved the option of closing the screen for an evening bath, and having the screen open for a morning "bath in the bush".

There was not a lot that could've been done better for this kind of experience. We've never experienced a composting toilet before so that took a bit of getting used to, and perhaps just a few more lamps in the bathroom and kitchen would've been helpful. It may be a good idea to make it super clear that there is no electricity at all, as most people would want to charge phones etc. We were okay as we had our own portable battery pack but others may not be as prepared. But we loved everything about this place, and will definitely be back!

Loved the fire places both indoor and out. Loved the big bath for 2. Loved the nature and lay out.
