The kauri Tree Pod - Off Grid Experience

I really liked the feel of the place, so peaceful, has everything you need, spacious and inviting. There is no power in the area we stayed but there is a place to charge your phone not to far away

Okay, I'm not sure if it's mentioned in the fine print but the toilet is kind of like a long drop.. but it isn't as bad as it sounds, and this is not worth not booking.

Loved the bath and the outdoor fire

No mention in the description that the house is looking down on the property and very close. They do a good job of making it seem private though

Idyllic spot with everything you need for total rest and recovery from the busyness of life.

Really different experience, very peaceful and relaxing. Lovely host, introduced at the start but didn’t intrude on the seclusion of the stay.

If there were just a lot more candles and lamps that would’ve been great. We loved the idea of no electricity, but the head lamps dimmed pretty quickly and there were only a few candles. We would’ve loved to be able to light up the walk ways with some candles it would’ve been so magical. But was still really amazing and great value for money.
