Porto River House

Great location, spacious home, good parking, nearby grocery. Easy to take day trips from the house if you have a car. Great walking trail along the river. Ensuite bathrooms for every bedroom. Wonderful host.

Wifi didn't work in some of the upstairs bedrooms. Living and dining areas decorated but the rest of house was sparse - no wall coverings - did not feel like home. Kitchen small but workable.

El alojamiento es muy especial. Es la casa perfecta para pasar unos días con amigos. Las habitaciones son muy espaciosas y las camas así como la ropa de cama son muy confortables. Francisca es muy amable y facilita todo lo relativo al alojamiento. Mucho menaje y también servicios de cocina. El jardín es muy agradable. Es pet friendly pero de verdad, de los que no añaden un suplemento innecesario. Muy recomendable !

All bedrooms are good size with very comfortable beds and en suite bathrooms. Very inviting dining room and terrific outdoor spaces. The owners were responsive and knowledgeable. Very good location, and with a quiet street.

Everything was lovely!

Everything was great except the massive construction project next door that started by 7:30am.

Couldn’t use the patio until work stopped daily. Got woken up every morning at 8:30 except weekends.

The house was fantastic for our group of 8 girls - all the bedrooms had en suite bathrooms, the living room and dining area was great for socialising in the evenings, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean and bright. The outdoor space was great too. The house is in the Foz area close to the riverside promenade where you can walk out to the coast in 30 mins and there's a supermarket just round the corner. It's a perfect base to explore Porto, Gaia and the coast. The owners were friendly and responsive and helped us book airport transfers.

The house next door has building works going on (Nov 25) but we weren't disturbed too much
