Spacious, well-equipped, ample parking, enclosed rear garden, great for plane spotters. Very enjoyable.

Beautifully spacious home with great catering facilities. All the equipment you could need. Great large dining table. Great host, amazing contact even at 3am in the morning. We were lucky enough to go on a beautiful summer’s weekend and the host had all the sun loungers put out in the garden for us which was perfect. It was a really lovely place to relax and celebrate a birthday with friends. Ample parking down the side of the house and paved area of the middle of the garden.

For me the neighbours are too sensitive to normal levels of noise. We hired to house on a really hot sunny weekend (rare for England!) and couldn’t relax outside in the evenings talking at a normal level. This meant we were all inside with windows closed and very warm. Also please be aware that it is on a flight path and you can hear the planes a lot during the day, this didn’t irritate me but might others.

The property was a good size for an extended family stay with plenty of seating and 2 large fridge freezers

We had initially booked and paid for an additional night for just my husband and I before the family arrived but 5 days before our stay we were told that a new shower was being fitted and we could not stay there. I requested to stay as it as just my husband and I and there were 2 other full bathrooms. We did not have any further communication until I contacted the host 2 days later to be told we could not stay there. This left us in a very difficult position just before our daughter’s wedding with only 3 days to find alternative accommodation. We were offered a 7-8am check in on the Friday due to to the issues with the Thursday night booking. However 2 days before we were told we couldn’t enter until 9am and it was going to cost £140. I was very shocked and upset. The host did revoke the cost after I contacted her. However when we arrived at the property at 9am on day of check in the house was like a bomb site and had clearly been used by many guests the night before - so much for not being able to stay there due to one of the showers needing repairs. The house is in a gated community and the gates are shut at 9pm which was not explained. We struggled to get in late at night and my son had to stay up until almost 1am to let us in as the gates only open if you are driving out at night as we did not have a key fob to get in. If there was one in the property we were not told about it and it was not in the guest book. It would have been nice to know that prior to arrival - although it would not have been much use as my son and daughter in law left the wedding earlier than us as they have small children, if they had taken the “key fob” we would still not be able to get in!! Parking is not allowed on the road and although the owners state 15 parking spaces they leave 2 large cars parked there and you can only get smaller cars down one side of the gated drive way. The house was not very clean. The grill pan was left greasy and dirty. Some of the crockery was also dirty.

TV and heating not working properly on arrival, toiletries were not provided except one handwash even though free toiletries were on the itinerary.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. I booked this place for a gathering for my friends after I got married and I have never been this anxious and stressed when organising something. Upon entry the guests were frightened and put to discomfort due the host constantly spying upon everyone through the ring door cam and asking everyone who they were and for their names. They kept the damage deposit money and accused me of not being there even though I was right there throughout the night. The hosts were incredibly rude and lied to me constantly through text and blackmailing me into giving them a good review. Have conversations all in written format, never over the phone, they’ll agree to one thing and then play it as if it never happened. They accused me on loads of things, my experience with this place was horrible. It has been one month and I’m still dealing with them giving me my deposit back (as agreed). Please do not book with them.

House was lovely and spacious, beds very cozy. Will be lovely in the summer.

Even with the potable heaters it was still quite cold. We made use of the sauna though. We had a house of 11 ladies, definitely more mirrors needed.
