Pontone on the sea apartment

I liked the view. It was nice to see all the houses down there and the sea.

It was a really long longgg way to come up here from Amalfi. If you have luggage, please just get a close hotel near Amalfi. If you take the bus to Pontone, you get off at bivio Pontone and have to walk 20min through the tunnels and then more inside the village area. Lots of stairs. My lock for the luggage disappeared after all the stairs haha. So I would only!! Recommend to those who love to see the scenery and who love to hike. Only accessible to backpacking people. And there’s only 2-3 restaurants nearby so, get all the food from Amalfi before you get here. It’s so hard to walk back to Amalfi. My legs were dying.

The apartment is very cosy and useful. All detailes is thoughted and placed. very nice view from terasse.

the location is too long and taugh to reach. no taxy hoing there and bus stops 3-4 stations before the adress so you need to ridw up to the hill with laggages. Too tiring.

One of apartments which looks better in reality than on photos. Apartment ic very clean and nicely decorated. You can notice that host take care about every detail. Maria is very kind and responsive. Instructions how to reach apartment were accurate. Since there are some stairs to apartment host took alour heavy baggage with elevator. What we liked most is amazing view from spacious terrace on which we enjoyed in breakfast or aperitivo. Location of apartment is also great. You can reach Amalfi in cca 25 minutes walking. Even return from Amalfi by foot is not problem if you are in regular fitness form. We managed with 5 years old kid without some bigger effort. Hartly recommend it and we regret that we hadn't more time to stay in apartment!

Really kind family with amazing support, they waited for us on site and helped with our luggage with the luggage lift which is a great help given the steps you have to take to reach the apartment. We've even received loads of snacks in the kitchen, as well as amenities in the bathroom. The view is unbeatable. Take a short walk to the little square nearby where you can find restaurants and a bar. Highly recommended.

Very helpful owner, wonderful views, well equipped and beautifully presented property. Helpful access to a lift/hoist for luggage so as to avoid carrying it via the steps for accessing the property.

Paid public spaces for parking were very limited.

Finding a parking location is a challenge. It would be great if private or dedicated parking was available.

High up in the hills the property offers fantastic views of the coast and the area is very quiet and peaceful. The apartment was very clean and Maria is a very warm and accommodating host. There are a couple of restaurants nearby serving great food and the Amalfi town is easily accessible by steps. Getting to the apartment from Amalfi requires a bus so just be sure to check the bus timetables when planning your trip as it is very busy in Amalfi at weekends and the buses fill up quickly.
