Pontone on the sea apartment

So cute, amazing views and lovely people, Maria and her husband had every thing we could need. Included a much appreciated lift to the ferry on our departure which was much appreciated!! 🥰

It was very high up on the hill, but away from the business of Amalfi.

The view was beautiful, Maria and her family were amazing hosts, everything was spotlessly clean! The patio was a gorgeous spot. It was very hot when we visited so we were very grateful for the excellent and quiet air conditioning.

Maria, the host and her family are very nice, very helpful. Place is very beautiful with beautiful garden and atmosphere.

Amazing views, sweet apartment with kitchenette, comfy bed, lovely host family, quiet town very close to the buzz of Amalfi!

Nothing!

We liked our hosts very much. Maria communicated promptly throughout. Her husband met us and carried our luggage into the room. Her daughter met us and showed us into the room and gave us the keys. We loved, loved, loved the location and the view! Also, Amalfi can be reached on foot via the stairs — about 30-40 minutes.

Nothing, really. It is hard to complain, being in a place like this.

So quite and calm. The apt has everything you could need. Maria and family are very available and helpful. Absolutely loved it.

You need to understand the bus time table well to get around it's very cheap at 1.50 euro a trip from pontone to almafi instead of €60 in a taxi! When I arrived Amalfi with two teenagers after an epic long journey a short taxi ride costing 60 was a shock. Maria told me where to get the bus and met us.

- the host was very polite - the house was clean and comfy - there are restaurants nearby

- wifi signal was bad. - Pontone is not well deserved by bus

The view was stunning. It felt like I was in a disney movie at night. Maria the owner and her family were very friendly and welcoming. Maria left us water and iced tea as well as some snacks for when we arrived :) This place is perfect for people who want a nice peaceful holiday.

The buses in the area are not very frequent or reliable, making it very difficult for people who don’t drive. The walk down to Amalfi is about 1,500 steps so if you are not a very fit person it may be difficult going up and down. Pontone is quite isolated.

Incredible view, super friendly hosts, gorgeous outdoor seating area. The facilities were great, and covered everything we needed during our stay.
