"Peaceful country stay."

Beautiful setting. Spacious clean comfortable home away from home. Had everything you need. Despite the issue with the shower we loved our stay.

The shower had a lovely strong pressure but it was tricky to stop the water going over the floor and difficult to control the temperature.

The property had everything we needed. Comfortable beds. Beautiful views, loved the bikes that was provided.very peaceful and we had very hot weather which was a bonus. Retuning next year.

"Could have been better"

Location

Water pressure very poor, just a trickle for showers and not very warm water. Tried to have a bath but gave up on that. Sofa had stains on it, looked like blood, tv not great to get working. A simple welcome pack would have been a nice touch. Also some logs for fire to get started with. The cottage had a list of what we couldn’t do, we felt the information sheet was full of restrictions and quite unwelcoming. To the point of being told not to use back garden door. We also had to take our rubbish in car on last day to the big bins a distance away. Overall I think it wouldn’t take much to make the whole cottage a lot more welcoming.

Beautifully presented and clean, good location for our travels over the weekend. Beautiful surroundings. The cottage has all the things you would need for a break including a washing machine and a dishwasher.

The property would benefit from an upgrade to the tv so that it offers BBC channels for example and maybe Netflix other streaming services.
