"Exceptional"

Loved staying at this beautiful cottage that's full of character in the middle of the gorgeous countryside. All the rooms are spacious and clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the host has milk, butter, jam, marmalade, bread, tea and coffee ready for us. I'd definitely recommend staying there!

"A perfect property"

We loved our stay at Dove Cottage. Such a beautiful location and very much in the heart of the Derbyshire dales and the Peak District. It looks like a semi detached but the whole building is one property with so much space. It's close to local amenities with a pub at the end of the lane that serves good food. The property is so clean and comfortable. We stayed for a week. We all wished we could have stayed longer. We really enjoyed the small welcome pack and the information provided gave a history of the area and who Gwen is. If we ever get the chance to come back, we would do so in a heartbeat. Thoroughly recommended.

We needed to take all of our recycling to the nearest town as no local recycling collection. This is no fault of the property so is not reflected in the score.....it made us wonder what the locals do.
