"A wonderful spacious cottage with a homely feel"

We were very surprised how spacious the cottage is and the log burners made it cosy and homely The location was peaceful and picturesque and at night there wasn’t a sound so had a good sleep. Spotlessly clean and the large dining table was great for our family meals.We also had a very nice lunch at the pub at the end of the lane. 6 of us stayed for 3 nights, wish we could have stayed longer.

Can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

The property was comfortable and clean. It was a great location, not far from the places we wanted to visit. The host was easily accessible. Really lovely comfortable family home.

No electric charge for an electric car. Not much of a problem. Looking for charging points ended up being an added extra adventure.

"Perfect!"

Everything. Perfect base for exploring my 90 year old Dads childhood home and memories (he's 90 now and lives in the west country). A wonderful trip for me from Australia to relive these with him

Though the power went out for a couple of hours, this was no ones fault and allowed us to watch the causing storm much better. Mike brought us lamps and torches in case it was protracted. Back on quickly though so no issue

"Lovely cottage in a beautiful location - loved the pub next door!!"

The cottage exceeded my expectations with the size and little quirky touches. Having the pub right next door was great and we popped in for the meal and had a wee sing song with the locals (my partner brought his guitar). Our stay was for the purposes of going to Alton Towers and the cottage was within a distance for a lovely scenic drive. We would definitely stay again.

The cottage was a really good size for four adults it had loads of cooking equipment to help cook the breakfasts before our long walks the beds were very comfortable it was lovely and clean

Nothing really if I am being picky the outside bin would be better if it was larger to store the rubbish
