The views were wonderful. Loads of logs for the log burner. Great sized rooms and good area to put boots and jackets.

A drainer for plates would be useful by the kitchen sink.

Everything Authentic, nostalgic and much nicer than many cottages that have lost their history and charachter for ultra an modern, soulless vibe. Dove Cotrage felt instantly welcoming and like a home

The cottage itself, comfortable & relaxing. The beautiful countryside & location. All information given was perfect.

Loved it all. Could I please make one suggestion, that the sign Dove Cottage could be highlighted a little better.

"Tranquil and charming escape"

Excellent location with wonderful views. Quiet and away from it all but an easy drive in to Buxton if needed and with a pub and village shop within a couple of miles.

The property was just as good as expected. The kitchen was well equipped but in an ideal world on holiday a dishwasher is a treat and the sink layout makes washing up tricky.

"A very peaceful and relaxing property with plenty of space. A lovely place."

We enjoyed the lovely view of the countryside with the added attraction of a welcoming pub at the end of the lane. The weather wasn't brilliant but the property was well heated, with the bonus of 2 wood-fired stoves in the main rooms downstairs. The location was ideal for walking, and visiting Buxton and the rest of the Peak District.
