Fishermans flat - River view holiday home

The location was ideal for us. Broughty Ferry has plenty of amenities. The flat was close to the sea and the fisherman’s tavern.

The stairs to the top bedrooms are very steep. It would be very difficult for someone with limited mobility. However we were aware of this before booking.

A beautiful, characterful property with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. In a perfect location to access the seafront walks, and the shops bars and restaurants. Communication with the owners was first class, and they replied to any queries within minutes Exceeded our expectations.

Nothing we didn't like, although the steep staircase to the upper bedrooms was not for those with mobility or balance problems (or drunk 😂)

A great, clean spacious flat, with shops, pubs ,restaurants ,sandy beach and castle all within a 5 minute walk. Some pubs are less than a minute as is the pebble beach , despite that the apartment is still very quiet.Also a well stocked apartment and plenty of room for us as a couple and 3 older teenage kids.

As the top floor is a loft conversion, the stairs are quite steep to the 2nd floor bedrooms and the 2nd floor ceiling height is quite low but none of that bothered us.possibly the top floor bedrooms would be difficult for younger children or less able bodied persons. There is still plenty of room on the 1st floor. Plus the master bedroom is based on the first floor

Nice house at a good location. We stayed there for 2 nights. First day was so cosy and great with stay.

Second night, heating was completely out. Tried to contact owner and no luck. Struggled with kids. So can't be happy with stay. Steep stairs to bedroom were fearful.

The kitchen and shower room were good. location good. Heating efficient when we worked out .

Many things. Flat was cold on arrival . No welcome pack or instructions. Duvet was thin and we had to take more bedding from upstairs . Under bed dusty and old sock found. Furniture old, worn and not useful . Tiny wobbly tables . Decor dowdy, lighting inadequate and lacking all bulbs . Wi-Fi instructions missing. Had to call owner. Loft area, not clean and frankly dangerous to access . Bucket of sand and another of rubbish left by log burner even though we couldn’t use said burner, sofa in position where you couldn’t see TV. Not very cheery for a Christmas stay !!

Location . The town is lovely

A bit misleading in photos as thought there might have been some wood there and fire place cleaned out . But once temperature in flat up was very cosy .
