key would not easily enter the outside lock. it should not take 4 minutes to gain entry on a cold and wet evening

The cottage is lovely, tucked away in a quiet spot, just a short walk from the centre of Kendal. Ben and Ellie were very helpful when we had to deal with some unexpected work demands.

Lovely cosy cottage. Everything you could think of was provided. Helpful hosts. Pet friendly and supplied dog essentials which was extremely helpful!

When I booked, the description did not say it was on 3 floors. the stairs between floors were almost a spiral staircase, there was NO mention of this. my mum who was with me walks with a stick and has limited use of 1 arm. She struggled with the stairs and did not feel safe. The living room (on the first floor) only seats 3 people (although it can comfortably sleep 4), no tray available to carry cups up a very tight staircase. the bathroom was on the 2nd floor where the staircase becomes narrower. We booked 3 nights, but only stayed 1. had I realised the property was on 3 floors and had a twisty staircase I would not have booked.
