I cannot lie I loved everything about the quirky Kendal cottage! it was homely, comfortable and made my stay in the lakes a pleasure! i will definitely be staying again! Ellie and Ben who own the cottage checked in to see if everything was ok and if I needed anything which was lovely. everything is accessible and in walking distance, I parked at the cricket club for £2 per day which was a 2 minuet walk from the cottage.

Parking bit of a pain

Gorgeous little secret cottage in the centre of Kendal. Very comfortable and well equipped. Hosts were so helpful. Great location Great value. Would highly recommend and would love to go back.

No on site parking ( which we knew when we booked) however hosts shared helpful local parking suggestions.

The cottage had everything we needed for our stay! All kitchen appliances and supplies needed for making meals at home. even included dog bowls and crate if needed. Sitting area was comfortable and had an Amazon Firestick for our use. Beds were comfortable and had plenty of towels for our use. Had soapsfor the bathroom so didn't need to buy any of our own as well which was a very nice touch. Located walkable distance to town center and even was able to get Deliveroo to the cottage which was very easy. Bus station and train station were both very close and went all the main towns that we wanted to see. Excellent views of the Kendal castle as well with walking paths nearby.

Great communications from hosts Ellie & Ben. Cottage was clean and comfy with lovely quirky features and dog friendly including a secure back garden
