Kasbah cosy cottage Kendal

It felt like a home instantly. It was lovely. There is all you need in there. If you are outdoorsy and need a place to stay in Kendal it's perfect.

It could have been a little cleaner but it was fine to stay in! I have found a mug with lipstick on it still but that might have been a mistake.

The cottage is beautiful, cozy, warm and spotless. Located in the centre of Kendal, it's the perfect location to leave the car and walk, parking is tricky, so that's just what we did. Prior to arrival, comms from the owners was prompt and detailed and the info pack left in the cottage is full of really useful leaflets and info about Kendal. The cottage is so lovely. Has everything you need for your stay. A very well equipt kitchen and dining room on the ground floor. Beautiful, modern bathroom and extremely cozy living room with a real fire....perfect for this time of year...on the second floor. Third floor is the double bedroom with dressing table and hairdryer. Extra duvet and pillows if needed. The cottage is warm, welcoming and we will book again. Thank you

Parking is tricky as mentioned, but we found a spot.

The cottage was warm and cosy, in a great location. Well equipped, and with a really lovely feel about it.

Nothing, was very happy

We stayed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so we could spend time with our daughter and son-in-law, as our daughter works over the Christmas period in Kendal. The cottage had a lovely Christmas tree in the lounge with a roaring open fire which was so homely and very Christmasy. The cottage was spotless and quite quirky in its design, running over three floors. The weather was very cold while there, but we actually had to turn the heating down a lot, as it was so warm. The radiators were like fires in themselves. The accomodation is very dog-friendly with a secure garden and, while it is only about 10 yards from the main road, there are two gates to keep your pet safe. The town centre and river is a short walk away, as are the local supermarket, restaurants and shops. Parking was free and literally one minute's walk from the property. (Go past the property and turn left after about 30 yards). If you want a delightful place to stay in the heart of Kendal, look no further.

There was nothing to dislike. It was perfect for us.

Nice location and a really fun quirky house. Cosy little living room and comfy bedroom. Nice hot shower.

Great location for easy access to Kendal; the town centre is walking distance, without it being noisy. A really cosy cottage, nice to return to after a cold day in the fells. Everything clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee available, and a corner shop across the road for anything else you need. We didn’t sample the Indian restaurant across the road, but it had solid reviews online so another handy option on the doorstep.

Parking was a little tricky on the weekend nights, but the host is very clear about this before booking and provided helpful suggestions for where to park. It never took us long to get a space. TV just received a small handful of channels; not an issue for us, but something to plan for if you were hoping to be able to watch Netflix the evening or something similar.
