Very comfortable and cosy, great location and facilities. Kitchen well equipped, lovely bath and shower. Enclosed garden for dog.

"Good area to commute to the lakes."

Cute and bijoux/ quirky. Comfortable bed in lovely upper floor. Shower was good.

Kitchen needed a little attention- floor needed a good scrub and freezer was bit dirty and mouldy. So we didn’t use it.

"Lovely comfortable and cosy house, great location"

Warm, cosy, clean and comfortable. Just what we needed for our stay. Easy walking distance to the town centre, took us about 10 minutes. We had our labrador with us and the house was perfect for him too - has a small garden that is shared with the next door property, it is secure so we could let him out there when needed. The house had everything we needed there (including a hairdryer which I had forgotten to pack so was very useful!), and the owners were very helpful and communicative and provided a folder of information on house info and things to do in Kendal.

There is no parking but we knew this prior to booking, and the owners provided plenty of info on where to park nearby - we had no issues.

"Lovely charming cottage"

The location was excellent. The cottage was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. We had a fantastic stay with our two little dogs. It was great to have access to a garden for them as well. Loved reading the history of the cottage and all the info about the area. Loved having a real open fire for the nighttime Had good communication with the owners, very friendly. We have already recommended the cottage to family and would definitely love to stay again.

The heating was loud on occasion and did wake us up and our dogs, but this is not anything that could be changed and certainly wouldn't stop us staying again. It was certainly characterful.

"Handy location near bus and train station for getting into central lakes without having to drive."

Lovely open fire and comfy sofa to relax after a nice lakeland walk.

Quite tricky to unload our stuff, on a very busy road with double yellow lines. But did manage to find free parking nearby.
