"Lovely little bolt hole"

Lovely house in central Kendal close to public transport. Access on the main road but quiet through being behind other houses. Well laid out with plenty space for one or two people.

As previously mentioned the bed was a little uncomfortable. It was fine for one but wouldn't have liked to have to share. Would benefit from somewhere to drain dishes if not using the dish washer.

"Perfect Getaway Cottage"

Everything about this property was perfect! The location was fantastic being next to the train station and just a short walk to the centre whilst being quiet. The cottage itself is so cosy and welcoming, the fire is a great addition in the colder evenings! I would recommend this place to anybody who wants a break and to stay in a beautiful character building. Not only was the property beautiful but Anna was a great host who provided clear instructions to access the property and was only a message away if needed! 10/10 stay ❤️

"Quiet, great location, easy walk to main shopping area and cafes/restaurants"

We stayed in a roomy, 3 storey character home and loved the privacy and location, hidden behind main street buildings but oh so quiet. After lots of cycling it was great to have a washing machine and a bath to soak in, plus a cute backyard to store our bicycles and enjoy the garden and space.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

"We had a great couple of days in this lovely little cottage."

Very cosy and comfortable. Great location with only a short walk into town centre. Also Anna the owner was very helpful and communicated with us to make sure that everything was alright.

The only issue was parking on arrival.

"Superb"

The cottage was lovely, it had everything you needed and was a great location close to the town. The owners gave good arrival instructions as to where the cottage was located which really helped in finding where we needed to go.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like, we would stay again.
