Barn Cottages at Lacock

Lovely hosts, answered all of my questions whenever I had any in the lead up to our trip. Beautiful place to stay, we enjoyed being surrounded by nature. We appreciated being able to have our own kitchen, the option of having a highchair for our baby and the booklet on the dining table was brilliant for all the information we would need. Would recommend!

What an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The property is located in a lovely quiet spot, close to the village of Lacock. The property itself is a great self contained unit, a really great layout and a brilliant use of the space. We really enjoyed our stay. The owner Jane was very friendly, available to answer any questions and also sent an email with lots of information before our visit, which was really useful. Thank you.

Nothing that we didn’t like at all. Just to consider that the stairs to the mezzanine floor are a little steep. We had a 5 & 2 year old and we decided it’s probably best for our 2 year old not to use stairs on their own, especially if they get up in the night. Our 5 year old had no problems at all though. For children this upper floor was a really exciting space. This is not something we didn’t like, it’s just worth noting. There is also a stair gate at the bottom, so this provides protection if this is a concern.

Great location to drive to a different place each day. Very easy day trip to Bath. Rural location. Hosts was very kind and helpful. Contactable if we needed anything. Parking space right outside. Amenities close by

Location was good for what we wanted. The property itself was lovely - very cosy. Part-way through our stay the remote control for the tv was not working. I sent a text to the host and within 10 mins the host was there with new batteries for us, which solved the problem.

There was nothing that we didn't like about our stay.

Very comfortable bed, made it hard to leave for work. And also great kitchen utilities

Really cute and small little barn, had all the necessary equipment to make dinners etc, especially loved using the tea set and try in the mornings for when we wanted a cup of tea and biscuits in bed!!

There was nothing we didn’t like! We did find that the toilet made a weird noise throughout the night, kind of like a dribbling sound but we just shut the bathroom door and could no longer hear it, so it didn’t bother us.
