"We loved staying in the cosy, homely barn cottage close to some wonderful villages and not far from Bath"

The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we required for a lovely relaxing holiday in the countryside. The power shower was wonderfully hot. The owners Jane and Derek were friendly and helpful giving us sound advice on where to visit in the local vicinity. It’s not far from Bath and there are some beautiful villages to go to in the area. It is so peaceful and allowed you to get a good nights sleep. Hopefully we will visit Chestnut cottage again in the future.

Excellent location for visiting the many nearby attractions (by car). And the delightful village of Lacock is within walking distance. The hosts have thoughtfully fitted out the unit and gave us great tips about the area.

The cottage was extremley clean, with all the facililties we needed. There is a nice garden to walk around and the nearest town is a lovely 30 minute walk. Jane is very helpful and friendly.

Everything was great except the beds are not very comfortable. The mattresses are very firm.

Lovely cottage, very central to Bath and other places to visit. Hosts were very friendly.

Very narrow steep staircase to upstairs bedroom.
