Communicative host, property was comfy and quiet and easy to find. Really good for local visiting

Stairs to the mezzanine bedroom were quite steep, OK for us but should be pointed out to people when booking in case anyone has mobility issues

Perfect place for catching up with friends. Warm and cosy with everything you need at hand. Fantastic location close to Lacock village and Corsham. Lovely hosts who made us feel welcome. Highly recommend!

The location was perfect for peace and quiet, the villages of Lacock and Corsham within walking distance, the kitchen is super well equipped, the owners attended to our every need, the property was warm even in midwinter, and the beds comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and loved Chestnut Cottage with its big glass windows, with views out onto open fields.

Friendly and helpful owners. Ample on-site parking. Good sound insulation. Comfy beds. Good powerful shower. Well-equipped kitchen.

The upstairs "bedroom" lacks furniture - even a chair would be useful. The bathroom could do with a few extra pegs and/or rails for towels. The Internet connection was somewhat intermittent/erratic during our stay (presumably not the owners' fault!).
