Fantastic location, very comfy beds.. my mum and I were in lodge 1 and great communication with the owner.

One of our party was a wheelchairr user which is why we chose this property. The lip at the threshold was the only tricky bit to negotiate. There was plenty of space to manoiver inside.

The tiny kitchenette cupboard was very clever and we managed with the paper plates for our chinese meal takeaway but when it came to breakfast cereal we had to use our cups!

The Lodges were absolutely lovely, very comfortable with good facilities inside with nice little touches. The beds were comfortable, and we all slept very well. Would highly recommend, Thank you, Gavin.

Well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen, storage in bedrooms etc. Range of leaflets and info on local area and suggestions and discounts for local food. Location was excellent for Southwold, just minutes away by car and you could walk too if you were inclined to! Host was communicative and arrival and check in/access was easy. Good wet room style shower room and nice large towels.

Booking.com photos made it a bit confusing (probably user error!) as to which lodge I had booked but, host was good at communicating so we could make use of sofa bed which was fine for a couple if nights. Not really an issue with the lodge - more a cautionary tale when using booking.com - make sure you check that you have enough beds booked!

Great place to stay, especially with Mum, who is 91. Adapted for someone who has poor mobility . She has her own lodge, and we were next door able to help her as needed. Location quiet we could sit outside in evening enjoying peace. Good parking . Clean . Easy to get into southwold or onto A12 if travelling to other places . Owners are easy to contact and answer any questions straight away .

A toaster and microwave would have been useful, but I understood why not available due to regulations
