Lytton Tree Lodge Near Southwold

The location. There was everything we needed provided. The rooms are kept very clean. It was great for a short stay.

Lodge suggested Randolph Hotel (c10 min walk) for a discounted breakfast, but we went for an evening meal instead. No discount, but we went early and didnt book. Service and the food were excellent! Appreciated water and fresh milk sachets in our room fridge. Table and chairs on outside patio in the garden. Lodge 6.

Loved the location just a short drive or long walk in to Southwold. Perfect for anyone with mobility issues as everything on one level and very accessible. Very clean and great facilities.

Spacious. Spotlessly clean. Light. Nicely decorated and furnished. Very comfortable. Parking close by. . Everything was great 👍

The only 'room for improvement' is the walk in shower. No shower tray as is more wet room design. Unfortunately, the water tended to escape across the bathroom floor. Also, the shower was not very powerful. Did the job but slowly. Everything else was faultless! 😀

Lovely and clean! Perfect for our one night stay

We had a lovely stay here. The apartment was really nice and had everything we needed.

Convenient location close to Southwold, ample parking and well maintained area around the lodges. Lodge itself was spacious, clean and the beds very comfortable. Outside seating a welcome facility.

Whilst the property was very clean and good all round facilities, the provision of a microwave might be useful for some guests. There was a strong smell in the bathroom, which may need looking at, that said the room was clean, but the toilet would benefit from a deep clean to eliminate the smell.

Communication was great and the host was very helpful. The accommodation was perfect for us and our 2 dogs for a couple of nights, with everything we needed. The little garden area was ideal for letting the dogs out quickly and easily. It was very walkable from the property down into the centre of Southwold.

The room was very hot at night, but it was during a heatwave. Aircon would have been lovely!
