The location was very convenient- right on the edge of the stassis and close to all the sights. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with a very large terrace, though no views. The host was very helpful and responsive. We had a terrific stay in this fairy-tale town.

Search no further- you have found the most amazing place to stay while visiting Matera. Only 2 minutes walk away from the Sassi, but in a tranquil zone, Mariela will greet you to her beautiful apartment, so well kept and modern. Pictures do not do justice to her home. She is so thoughtful and will check on you to make sure you are well informed but not too pushy. All the great reviews are here for a reason.

The location was perfect! Right outside the Sassi. An elevator to the apartment was an added bonus. Loved the outdoor patios. The hospitality was incredible. The hostess went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. The kitchen was well supplied with food and equipment.

Parking was a little difficult but I believe that is part of being close to the Sassi.

Lovely, modern apartment, great location

Communication in English with host is challenging; the kitchen could be better equipped ( there was no kettle or electric water cooker and no toaster).

Just stayed the one night but perfectly located for an early flight. Clean, modern and great service.

Very nice flat, big and clean with an amazing big terrace. Some food and plenty of delocious snacks were also available. The host was extremely nice, kind and helpful. She took time to show us around the apartment and gave us some good tips to go around the city. Location was perfect as incredibly close to the city centre. Additional tip: great restaurant nearby called Sottofondo Gustoteca
