The Old Post Office

Lovely property… very clean and comfortable. The location was great…excellent pub, lovely butchers and easy drive to lovely braces and an easy walk to Whitby.

It didn’t have an outside space, which we knew when we booked. But with the weather being exceptionally hot, it would have been nice to sit out. There is a lovely pub nearby where we sat to compensate.

The Old Post Office was perfect for us as a couple with a dog. Located close to the village centre and a short walk to an open area to exercise Ted our dog. The accommodation is well set out downstairs and the bedroom is spacious, both areas are clean with modern facilities.

Beautifully done and in a lovely area Host was super quick to reply with messages and really helpful. Great stay, would highly recommend

Bed and pillows not very comfortable No milk or anything to get you started and given there is no supermarket walking distance nearby Would expect a coffee machine at this price

We both loved the quirky features and there was everything we needed right there. It was also spotlessly clean. We loved the layout of the rooms especially the bedroom. The butcher shop next door was amazing

Everything about our experience at The Old Post Office was exceptional. Clean and tidy, well ordered and not cluttered. Straightforward descriptions for all of the facilities. Comfy sofa, Comfy bed and an excellent shower. Sympathetic yet authentic restoration to the property. Easy and simple access. Serene setting yet 6 minutes from Whitby Centre and surrounding amenities. Relaxed and comforting vibe from the property. Highly recommended 100%
