The Old Post Office

Amazing house, well staffed out, comfy bed.

Checkin time was quite late (4pm) and checkout quite early (10am), would have been great to have an hour more on either side.

Beautifully renovated and furnished property. A home from home. A lovely, deep bath and comfortable bed. Excellent butchers next door and a welcoming local pub that served gorgeous homemade food.

Toilet being in the bedroom was the only flaw.

Beautiful and exactly like the pictures.

The duvet was a summer tog and we were a little chilly at night. We could have asked if a thicker duvet tog was available but we decided not to as we happened to have our own blankets in our car.

Cosy and really comfortable cottage with lovely decor and a fabulous bath/shower! Great location in the village with footpath to Whitby on the doorstep.

Lack of parking, but luckily found a space not too far away.

The Old Post Office was a great place in a lovely location about 2 Mile from the centre. The facilities provided where everything you require for a weekend stay. Super comfy bed! Travelled for my Partners Birthday and she loved every minute of the stay! Especially the breakfast in the morning across the road! Highly recommend and would 100% consider booking again!

Not a real negative as I loved our stay. However on to consider could too potentially ask the Butchers for the gate code on booking to use one parking space for 1 vehicle who are staying at the property.
