The location and parking were very good

No mention that the property is shared with a door on the bedroom floor that leads to the lower flat and that if only 2 people are using the property that the upstairs sauna is not to be used. This was only made clear once we had paid. It also said luxury, but the decor is tired and not very clean. The clock in the kitchen was covered in greasy dust, the entrance inside and out was not the best, bathroom mirrors were past their best with the shelf in one bathroom was not usable as things slid off. Over all the property needed a deep clean. (I do have photos to back this up). The jacuzzi had seen better days, with some jets not working and head rests missing.

Wonderful views, comfortable bed and lovely cottage in general. When I asked for someone to look at the lock the response was very quick. Hot tub is fantastic overlooking the whole town.

The views were spectacular and the hot tub was a lovely way to end the day after walking. Private parking is a bonus in Whitby as well.

Nothing. Be aware that there are a lot of steps but if that bothers you then maybe Whitby isn't the place for you.

The beds were super comfy and the bedding and pillows were lovely. The cottage has loads of character and the views are amazing! Location was perfect for us, close to everything we wanted to see and do. One of the main factors for booking this property was the parking space, but when we arrived someone had taken the space. However, the hosts were lovely to deal with, and after a phone call they fortunately were able to find us a space at one of their other properties down the street. We only stayed for one night so didn't need to use all of the amenities, but from what we could see the house had the essentials you'd need to cook a meal.

The cottage was quite dirty in some areas, definitely not cleaned to the standard expected for the price. Also the living room area was extremely cold, the radiators just don't seem to be sufficient for the size of the room, especially considering the windows are large and quite draughty. Because of this we didn't manage to spend much time admiring the views as it was far too cold to be comfortable.

The location and views was so good, especially in the hot tub in a morning.
