Mowbray Stable Cottages

Fabulous cottage, decorated with wonderful special touches by really lovely owners. Incredibly comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. Great location, peaceful but just a pleasant 20mins walk to the centre of town.

Nothing to complain about

The cottage was very comfortable and super clean. It has absolutely everything that you need whether you’re staying one night or a few weeks. Paul and Lucie are amazing too, really welcoming and around if you need them but respect your privacy. A perfect little bolt hole to explore the surrounding beautiful countryside.

Everything. Very Clean, everything you could ever think of using was at hand. The owners were so kind to us . We will definitely be back .

NOTHING

The location was chosen because of its proximity to family that we were visiting nearby. An added bonus was a pub that served excellent food within a few minutes walk. Thirsk itself was also easily accessible by foot.

Nothing that we didn't like but perhaps a couple of things that would enhance the facilities. Although the bathroom could probably be classed as a wet room, a shower curtain might help water spreading too far. Also, a towel rail next to the shower would be handy. I also found the bedside lamp a bit difficult to read by so perhaps a different sort of shade might help.

There was nothing not to like. I stayed for a few days,it's nice and quiet.

I wish I'd stayed longer

Location was great. The property was situated in a quiet location with the town of Thirsk being situated a close distance away. The property itself had everything you could wish for and more. Lucie and Paul were excellent hosts. We will definitely be going back.
