Sigurd House

Location was perfect as was the house Only problem i had was i couldn't see a washing machine or tumble dryer but as my visit was only for 3 days in total cut short to 2.5 days by storm Floris that wasn't too much of a problem

My mattress on my bed wasn't very thick and uncomfortable

Modern, spacious and clean. Walking distance to Thurso centre with a local shop and Lidl just around the corner

Beds aren't the most comfortable and bedding very creased.

The property was very convenient and clean and fine for a short stay .

If the house was going to be let as a holiday home , for a longer stay , then a few items would make a big difference , eg cushions on the sofas and table or stand lights , to make the sitting room more comfortable .

No breakfast

Heating difficult - no answer on contact number for help. Only partially heated in the end. Sheets pilled and some stained. Only overhead lighting in 2nd bedroom - no bedside tables or lamps. Main bedroom only one bedside lamp.

Location

The beds are not comfortable. Back bedroom bed loose at foot board. (Bolts missing). Front small bedroom bed creaks. Front main bedroom bed against wall, and chair is broken. Also, cheap pillows and duvets. There are no facilities to wash/ dry clothes. The kitchen was okay, although it could do with an extractor fan. Some pans were not clean. The instruction pack said to switch every off at except for the fridge and to keep switching on for the heating above dish washer, which wasn't there. The instruction pack needs updating as it is covid advice.

Well situated for the NC500. Good size house , very clean and tidy
