Flora Inn, Flora I - Nel cuore di Bergamo Alta

We've stayed at Flora I a few times now and always look forward to spending time in the apartment. It is well equipped with everything you need for a short stay and the view is exceptional. It's easy to collect the keys from Bar Flora and Andrea is an informative host who responds quickly to queries.

Amazing location with a view onto the Piazza Vecchia and the bell tower. Every evening at 10.00 pm the bell rings 100 times and it's a beautiful, deep sound that takes you back in history. Spacious apartment with all the amenities you might need. Lots of windows and natural light in the living room area. The owners were responsive to our questions and requests and very friendly. Great kitchen with nice dishes and cooking equipment. The same owners run a lively bar on the piazza, which is a great spot for an aperitivo. You can reach the apartment by car to drop luggage but the owners have to get a ZTL permit for your car beforehand, which costs 10 EUR.

The bathroom could use more lights and it would be great to have a proper shower partition as the entire bathroom floor gets wet after a shower. Would also be nice to be able to control the heating from inside the apartment, but on the upside the owners were able to change the thermostat remotely when we asked for more heat. These are not big issues and we would love to stay there again!

The location overlooking the square is absolutely perfect. Add to that the wonderfully designed and really spacious apartment and you can have a brilliant break.

Very cool and spacious apartment with the perfect location in Cittá Alta. You have everything within 5 minutes walk. Piazza Vecchia is a beautiful and lively square without being too noisy.

Only small comment was the light in the bathroom was too weak for me….but may that’s more me getting older.

Amazing location, great staff, the apartment has the wow factor and has some unique features.

Very little wrong with this place but just a few tips for the owners. The kitchen really needs some scissors! The bathroom is dark and needs better lighting. It gets hot at night time in the summer. However, all of these are very very small matters and it's still a great place to stay.
