Flora Inn, Flora I - Nel cuore di Bergamo Alta

Fantastic modern apartment in a beautiful old building and situated in the best location in Bergamo Alta! Smooth check in at the Flora Bar which is just across from the apartment. Everything you could need in the apartment and bed very comfy. One suggestion would be to have some bottled water in the fridge for guests arrival. All fantastic.

The apartment was excellent. Location was perfect, right on the main piazza of Bergamo Alta. Since it overlooked the main Piazza you are able to watch all of the people,look right out at the main tower, even listen to music and festivities from the apartment. Perfect location to walk and see all of Bergamo Alta. The owners even own a bar” Bar Flora “ on the square that has great drinks and service and more people watching. It is a place where the people from the lower main city come with there families to relax. The check in was easy. Andrea even went with me to park my car.Great host.

Very stylish apartment with nice kitchen. We were 3 people and it was spacious enough for us to be comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the old town.

The only complaint, which is really small, is that the metal bathroom floor was very cold in the mornings.

host insited on a checkout time of 10:00am - even when asked for it to be extended for just one hour because we were not feeling so well, that was not very friendly. the dishwasher kept running on its own, needs to be fixed. bathroom could be cleaner. no capsulas for the nice espresso machine, hence unusable. bedroom has no closet, only shelves like in a store.

Excellent location looking out onto the main piazza - and easy access to bars / restaurants - very spacious apartment - you pick the keys up from the bat (of the same name) - the bar if great, staff very helpful (even provide blankets to wrap up in if the evening gets cold as you sip your Hugo or sweet wine)

Nothing .... but please note access from the street included a very long internal set of steep stone steps - this did not bother us but it may be a problem for some visitors

The only thing that we would change about the apartment is the floor in the shower/wet room as it doesn't dry out.

Splendid location. The apartment was spacious for two people and stylishly decorated. The view towards the square was very good.

High quality apartment with the best location in Bergamo Citta Alta. Great bathroom, kitchen, living room, and bedroom set-up.

The photos reflect exactly what the apartment is like. I would add a few more photos of the building and the staircase (quite steep and long stairs). The location of Flora I is best - just at the heart of Bergamo but fortunately it wasn't loud at night. The beds were very comfortable. We also liked the possibility of using Netflix. The communication with the host was nice and fast.

We came after 8 pm (which I stated by booking.com) and the people at the Flora bar seemed to be surprised at our appearance. At that time the only shop in Bergamo Citta Alta had been closed and in the apartment there was nothing for us to drink... We were forced to buy at the bar (unfortunately no discount for the guests). Although there is a coffee machine in the apartment, there's no coffee available with it! There wasn't also any invoice for us although I had given all the data in advance. The invoice came by e-mail after almost a week but it was just a photo and the data I had written beforehand was not given correctly... In the morning you could hear quite a few sounds coming from outside the apartment.
