Flora Inn, Flora I - Nel cuore di Bergamo Alta

Position and size.

Poor attention to detail by the owners. Had to chase them for various things missing. Fridge was not working. Kitchen utensils and crockery should be thrown away fully and replaced. 31 steeps steps from ground to front door of the unit (no lift) is a testing exercise hauling luggage. Despite being very central it is well soundproofed. Be aware this property is not air conditioned but heated for winter.

We have stayed in the Flora apartments a number of times, but Flora I was new to us. We loved it! The location is amazing, with a view over the Piazza Vecchia. The apartment is very well set out and equipped, with comfortable beds and seats and a very nice kitchen. Being able to collect the keys from the Bar Flora makes things very easy - Andrea, his mother and the whole team do a great job. We can't wait to come back and stay again!

Location, location, location! Right in the heart of Bergamo, overlooking the square in Città Alta, from where you can observe all public events. A striking, spacious, and fully equipped apartment. Pleasant and helpful host. Parking is available in a short walk with small fee per night.

Just be prepared that it's a climb to the apartment. No elevator.

Property was so central to everything in Citta Alta.. everything was there once you stepped outside. Andreas the host was so hospitable.

Really excellent central position. Plenty of cafes, food shops and restaurants nearby plus supermarket. Very spacious and well fitted out.

We found the bathroom very odd. Modern fittings etc but it's a wet room with a slatted metal floor. Generally all a bit too dark.

Right in the heart of the old town of Bergamo. Beautiful apartment with lots of space and very relaxing. Had a lovely stay and everything you needed. was provided. Host even arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport as our flight was really early and airport buses weren't available at that time.

I find stairs a bit difficult due to arthritis (it's an age thing) however our host carried my luggage up and made everything as easy as possible. You can't get better than that!

The location was perfect, in the middle of everything. No breakfast was included.

There were no air-condition. More cups, glasses and similar in the kitchen and some more towels.

location, location and location…… also the staff was very helpful with showing how to get around and provided us a warm welcome!

only very minor thing was the limited cooking gear (but we managed)

Fantastic modern apartment in a beautiful old building and situated in the best location in Bergamo Alta! Smooth check in at the Flora Bar which is just across from the apartment. Everything you could need in the apartment and bed very comfy. One suggestion would be to have some bottled water in the fridge for guests arrival. All fantastic.
