Host & Stay - 11 Bakehouse Yard

The accommodation was immaculate and finished throughout to a high standard. The bed was very comfortable allowing for a restful cosy sleep. The bathroom was exceptional and I could have spent all my trip just taking baths. Excellent kitchen facilities with everything included that may be needed. A nice touch was the inclusion of a few logs in order to light the fire for a wonderfully cosy evening.

The only tiny criticism would be the sofa which seemed a little flattened forward when sitting on it. Not the most comfortable but certainly not the worst I've experienced. Certainly didn't detract from my wonderful stay.

Spotlessly clean Great central location

Having to provide a £250 damage waiver was frustrating and it woukd be helpful to advertise this in the initial booking rather than encounter once the booking was made. A nonreturnable further £10 to administer this seemed unwarranted

Everything was really great Exceptional facilities, immaculate throughout Warm and and cosy, brilliant location Would book this place again.

Steps and stairs, but that was only because I have bad knees. I still managed them and it didn't spoil my stay.

Beautiful decor, excellent facilities and appliances. Amazing location. Nearby parking which is unusual for Whitby . Very comfy beds, pillows and duvets. Lovely and warm

Not enough dining space for 4 guests. Sofa wasn't very comfortable otherwise an excellent cottage

Superb accommodation right by the harbour. Finished to a very high spec and evrything needed for a stay is provided.

Could have had the PIN number for the TV channels

The property is out of this world absolute credit too the owner liked the modern touch with the old quiet and good location everything was top class,I would recommend this cottage too anyone I,am 60yrs old and been too Whitby for many yrs and this tops it off FANTASTIC will be seeing you again THANKYOU

Location is excellent. Right in the heart of Whitby and can walk everywhere.

Nothing. It was of a very high standard.

Very quiet even in this very central location. Even the seagulls were quiet! The kids loved the Xbox in the loft room and the tv in the bathroom! The whole place was equipped with everything you could think of needing and more. Excellent, all round and beautiful decor.

We’d have loved a second bathroom but that’s just trying to find a downside to the property.

Home from home, everything they could think of was provided

Not the owners fault Host and stay didn’t send us any details about parking, until the day before arrival, and then we had to contact them, so it cause us undue worry about parking ! Being charged £10, non refundable admin fee for house insurance!!
