Host & Stay - 11 Bakehouse Yard

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, modern cottage in the centre of Whitby, great location with everything you need for a perfect home away from home. The bath is wonderful and I enjoyed watching tv whilst enjoying a soak at the end of each day. We have loved every minute and everything went very smoothly from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Parking in Cliff Street pay and display car park next to Poundland for an hour was easy for unloading and loading. The scratch card parking permits for free street parking which were provided once we got into the cottage were easy to use once we worked out where the "W" zones were (Khyber Pass was closest for us). We will definitely be back for another stay in this gorgeous home. Thank you.

Very clean, great location, fitted out to a really high standard. Nice welcome pack as well.

Nothing. Spiral staircase is quite steep but just something for people to be aware of.

The location and facilities were perfect, the parking, unloading and loading wasn’t a problem. Good recommendations for restaurants.

Whilst the bathroom looked amazing, the hot water was only tepid, the shower didn’t work to its full function. Stairs not the best if you have mobility issues. Log burner needs instructions.

Great, central location for getting around Whitby. The cottage has everything you need and done to a high standard. Everywhere was spotless.

Immaculate accommodation with many extras. Exceptionally clean with easy to follow instructions on checking in. The location is great right in the heart of Whitby with free parking a short walk away but you can unload outside the property and check in first. 10/10

Toaster didn’t work but a very minor issue as I could put the bread under the grill to toast.

Property is beautiful! Modern amenities in an old house with charm. It’s so nice and if it were on the market to buy I would be writing my check for it.

The washer / dryer took a long time to dry. But in all fairness that is my first time to use one like that, so it could be the user.

Great facilities. Lovely cottage. Really well equipped.

The pub next door was a bit noisy for us.

Parking can be a problem but only a 5 mins walk from main carpark
