excellent location directly overlooking the beach. Two minutes walk from the 199 steps.

missing lightbulb in twin bedroom upstairs , we had a small child and it wasn’t good in the middle of the night without a light, and master bedroom wasn’t very clean, especially the light fitments. No curtains at any of the windows. Only Sheer blinds so wasn’t really good for sleeping past 6 am.

Location is amazing. Beautiful views of Whitby and the sounds of the sea.

There is no dining table, just a small breakfast bar in one of the bedrooms. Wouldn’t have been suitable to stay for more than 2 nights.

The apartment was lovely and so was the view.

My only complaint was the bedding in the twin room. The qulit covers didn't fasten hence the quilt kept folding up on us. Would recommend new covers.

really good location

Due to the location it was very difficult to access and unloading car with multiple bags and food…we understand this with the nature of the location. once entering the property there was a unfortunate smell of cannabis throughout the cottage. As a family we like to cook while we’re away on our holiday, but unfortunately this cottage was ill-equipped in the kitchen. Only 3 normal plates which can be a struggle of 4 people. No kitchen washing equipment like a sponge or cloth to wash dishes and pans which should be standard. Bedrooms wise, the first floor bedroom, slats fell off multiple times and bedding old. 2 toilet roll for 3 adults and 1 child and unfortunately the bathroom could do with a good upgrade. kitchen not equipped for a family if your thinking of cooking. The location is the only positive about this property..they only need to spent some money to improve the property and interior. Big down walls were not curtains or black out blinds so wide awake from 5am…also top bedroom (2 single beds) No key to lock windows, and felt unsafe with children in that bedroom. For what we paid, I would no re-book
