Beautiful cottage. This is our second Christmas stay. Really comfortable and exceptionally clean.

Amazing location

Lovely cottage and would stay again. Could be a little cleaner as a lot of dust in bedrooms. And the only thing to complain about is the lack of crockery. It’s needs a lot more glasses and kitchen equipment for the amount of people it accommodates.

key lock was difficult to open, very fiddly. in the end we got it though and were happy.

The location is beautiful.

Unfortunately, the property is lacking any care. We arrived at 5pm on a Sunday after a four hour journey, there was no toilet roll provided and no welcome tray. This meant a 40 minute walk to a shop as nothing was open. On return my daughter asked what kind of place I had bought her to. My children found men’s and ladies underwear in various drawers and we then found a hat, scarf and gloves under the sofa. The sheets in the downstairs bedroom had not been changed. I text and let the owners know all this and I received a message to say they had messaged the cleaners and would get back to us which they never did. We were awoken at 8.30am by building work next door. The location is stunning but we will certainly not be returning. I think the owners really need to find a cleaning company that cares about the property, it really could be a gem!
