Whitby Beachfront Cottage

The property was very clean, some dog hairs on the floor so if you have a dog this is perfect for you, if you don’t you might want to re think.

This property opens out to a dog friendly small beach, this beach is used by dog owners where they allow their dogs to wee all over the sand next to children playing, also dogs barking, my three children refused to use this beach by day three as it felt extremely unclean. The view is beautiful though.

Absolutely beautiful little house, location was perfect, gorgeous view, super clean and very friendly owners. We felt so comfortable and can't wait to return with our families. It was the perfect location for our Alzheimer's Charity Walk. So close to the Abbey and a wonderful brewery close by, walking location to pubs and cafes it really was wonderful.

A little welcome pack of tea/coffee/milk might be a lovely touch. Never been somewhere without before so hadn't thought to pack any.Hand Wash soap in the bathroom and a few extra loo rolls as 2 between 6 isn't a lot. We found extra bin bags and washing up liquid but had to look for a dish cloth and kitchen cleaner so maybe handy to keep under sink for future guests. We also thought maybe a little welcome book,we couldn't work out how to use the fire and appreciate you messaged re WiFi passcode, some leaflets of places to visit you recommend always handy when not from the area.

Location was excellent, Whitby is lovely too. The house itself is literally right over the sand of the beach, and getting onto the beach is a 1 minute walk.
