Whitby Beachfront Cottage

The location was great and the views were amazing from every window lovely house just ashame small things let it down

Could of been cleaner very dusty rusty frying pan only one toilet roll between 5 adults no mirror in downstairs bedroom no hooks on doors no tea towels washing up liquid etc small things but would make a big difference for the cost of the stay I would expect better

Location was amazing, overlooking the beach and sea with balcony to sit out on. Dog friendly on side of Whitby where dogs are welcome on the beach. Living room bedroom was perfect for our needs.

Would not be suitable for mobility problems due to steps leading in. However this did not affect our trip. Could not fault in any other way.

Great location and balcony is lovely with amazing view. The property is spacious. It has loads of potential just with some TLC needed could be amazing with just a little extra attention to detail.

In need of a freshening up could do with a good paint job. It was really dusty and also cobwebs. Holes in cushions on sofa and balcony door needed a major clean. Bathroom sink didn’t drain. Beds had no mattress protectors and duvets really low quality. Was surrounded by lots of cottages which were all well maintained outside. But unfortunately 5 sandside outside looked run down compared to the other cottages around the area. Carpets looked like they hadn’t been hoovered. And someone’s old eye medication found under my bed and a hair bobble. Lamp in single beds bedroom didn’t work. And one bed looked as if hadn’t been changed slept in. I’m not a fussy person just being honest.

Location was good

Not mentioned in the booking process that you could not drive to it No toilet roll! No working WiFi No second loo

Awesome views of the bay, comfy lounge and beds.

Run down, needs leaving empty a week and found some maintenance. Stained wall and skirting in kitchen, tired bathroom and tiny shower. Should have checked but sleeps 6 with nowhere to sit and eat other than lounge chairs and eating off lap. After leaving someone left a hat, there was no response from the owner about whether it was found

The cottage was lovely and in the prefect location

Could not fault it really But our only niggle was that there was not a full set of utensils like wooden storing spoon or plastic large serving spoon if you wanted to make like dishes

We loved the fabulous view of the sea from all the rooms . The cottage was lovey and cosy . There were 6 Adults and we all felt as though we had plenty of space .

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the cottage . We were aware there was no parking but Managed to drive up close enough to the cottage and drop our things off . Maybe a larger frying pan for our bacon butties 😀

Fantastic location in the bay could sit and gear the sea with doors open. Beautiful.
