Whitby Beachfront Cottage

Ideal location to watch the fire works for New years - nice quirky, cottage, care has been taken to furnish and decorate the property to a high standard Bedding and pillows was really good quality

Needs new mattresses - single mattress, could actually feel the springs digging in to you - the double was almost like sleeping in a morgue slab! Which is a big shame considering the care and attention to the cotton pillows and bedding The property only has a microwave / oven hob - so no actual oven however plenty of restaurants in the neighbourhood Would have liked some complimentary tea/ coffee/ milk would have been a nice touch - however was sponge and washing up liquid supplied

Fantastic location. Balcony is a bonus - even during stormy weather it was lovely to look out. The early check in time and late check out were a bonus.

No chairs on the balcony- we had some sunny afternoons and we’d have like to sit out. The blind in the ground floor bedroom was broken.

Amazing location. Comfortable beds Friendly host View to die for. Had to make selves move to stop just sitting watching the world go by. Right in the middle of everything No parking but that’s to be expected if you know Whitby for the location Dropped our bags when arriving in the evening as far as can drive up but didn’t chance it on leaving in the morning as very busy. But few car parks around and no hassle. Turning circle very small. Need to be a confident driver if doing the bag drop All in all a fabulous weekend. Thank you very much. Will be Back !

The location and scenery were fantastic, except for parking.

The mattresses x2 were terrible. The single bed - you could feel the springs and blood visible. The large upstairs mattress dipped down one side (you rolled into a hole) Lots of cobwebs. Coffee stains down the unit in the room with x2 single beds.

The location is amazing, and the view is excellent. We love sitting with the balcony doors open and watching outside.

Only downside is,not being able to park nearby, it was not a big deal either to be fair as we didn't find it difficult to park car and carry bags along.

Perfect location and views. Great that the beach is so close. The views and sound of the sea in the morning and night was perfect.

Had a few issues when we first arrived to the apartment, I got in touch with the owner who responded, and amended these straightaway. Would suggest mattress and pillow protectors on the beds though.

Most beautiful location right on the beach front. A balcony with double doors giving the feeling of being on the beach but with the comfort the cottage offered.

Everything was really good with are overnight stay at this stunning seafront cottage.

The view is incredible, location is perfect.

No basics provided. No toilet roll or hand soap on arrival, we had to nip to co op for these items luckily it was as open. Only minor but it was inconvenient and not an ideal start to the holiday. Also smoke alarm was beeping so we also had to buy batteries.
