Beautifully presented, exactly as it looked on the pictures. Lovely walks straight out back of Hideaway. Cosy and warm and sweet touches especially the notes from the appliances 😍

Very quiet place.. Not to far to Whitby Once you work out the bus timetable

Parking. The local neighbours put a note on our car. Despite there not being any official no parking signs.

Lovely cottage. Really clean and comfortable, with everything you could need for a short stay.

The heated towel rail wasn't working, which might have been a problem if we were staying longer.

The location was beautiful. The property was exceptional. It was a really restful experience.

Some of the local amenities were not open on the days we stayed.

the location is great, a short drive to Whitby Harbour. The cottage was lovely and cosy, has everything you need.

The bathroom and kitchen were quite cold. the bathroom had a heated towel tail but it didn’t appear to be working. there was a heater above the door which did heat up the room when you were in there for a longer amount of time.

On quite a busy road but wearing earplugs didn’t disturb my sleep

The cottage was cosy, quaint and beautiful. Lovely furnishings and well equipped for a short self catering stay. Very clean with a focus on hygiene measures. We liked the quiet location which was a short drive away from Whitby and other nearby attractions. We would definitely stay again.

There wasn't parking on site which meant parking on the street. Not a huge issue but it did make loading and unloading the dog a bit more challenging. The property also has some damp. Damp was only visibly noticeable on the bedroom chimney and the cottage didn't feel or smell damp at all.

Nicely presented, cosy, private cottage. Convenient location for Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors.
