Warm, cosy, clean, very reasonable price. Very comfy bed, kitchen well equipped (able to cook a brilliant Christmas dinner). Host Jim’s communication great, can tell he would have been responsive if we needed anything. Great selection of board games and lovely fire. Good location - short walk to the quarry with beautiful mountain views. Short drive to well equipped shop in next town. 10 minutes drive to gorgeous beach. And thank you for the added touch of mince pies and christmas decorations!

Everything was fine for us, but some more knives in the kitchen would be useful. The lane and parking didn’t bother us but i can see if you had a larger vehicle or weren’t confident on a single track you might find this tricky The neighbours dogs could be annoying if you wanted to spend time in garden, but with the view on your doorstep why would you.

We loved the coziness and log burner. The whole place inside was lovely and well equipped. Good location for exploring.

Parking was a bit of a squeeze but you do get a space for the property. Sometimes neighbours or their guests park inconsiderately, restricting or making access difficult as it is a narrow road.

Nothing , everything is just perfect

I loved the attention to detail in the cottage. It was cosy and had absolutely everything I needed. Instructions from Jim were clear and uncomplicated. I appreciated the parking space, the Chocolate Cake, the comfy bed, the bits and pieces in the kitchen e.g. cooking oil, aluminium foil. Thank you! I would stay again at the drop of a hat.

The cottage was exactly as advertised. We did have to contact the host about a couple of things and he was just a phone call away. There was a well stocked Co-op in Penygroes just ten minutes away which was great as we were self catering. We loved staying in Snowdonia and recommend the drive up the Nantile Valley to Rhyd Dhu down to Beddgelert. Spectacular! Parking on site was easy. We also appreciated having a TV in the bedroom as well as the lounge.

There is nothing we would change.

Beautiful little cottage with everything you could ask for on hand, including wood for a fire, milk in the fridge and a lovely cake as a welcome gift. The bed was really comfortable with high quality bedding and the kitchen was well kitted out. Nice little rear garden, too, although the weather wasn't right for sitting out. There's also off-street parking, which was an added bonus. The cottage was spotlessly clean and having a lamp on was a welcome touch, as we arrived after dark. This is a place id definitely return to.

The only thing which may have caused a problem is that the road the terrace is on is up a narrow and winding street with cars parked randomly on double yellows. We have quite a large car and it was a bit of a squeeze but don't let this put you off!

#Neat and spacious inside the house – totally different from what you can see outside and when inside. Well very organised everything. #Jim seemed a nice person through messages – Jim kindly welcomed us with a nice chocolate cake and also a small milk inside the refrigerator. #Spacious and neat bathroom – the shower was also nice – but they could have given a shower caddy inside to keep stuff when taking showers.

#The Wi-Fi was poor – Jim messaged us on the day saying the Wi-Fi router had changed and we had to use a new password. -Still, the Wi-Fi was poor inside the house, and we had to depend on mobile data for it. #The Location - At first, reaching there a bit late at night, it was a good struggle to get there and park, as it felt like a dodgy area. The neighbours seemed a bit loud, and likewise their dogs, but seemed okay. We had to ask them every morning to move the van from the road, as it was blocking the way (but he seemed okay to move the van). If you've got a big car, I don't think you can reach here and park well. (Luckily ours was a small one). So we were always a bit paranoid about our car. #Personal suggestion – Would recommend Jim to add some shelves (shower caddies) inside the shower – As the bathroom and shower are spacious, I struggled a bit to put soap or shower gel and always needed to put it on the bottom floor.
