North Wales Cosy Cottage with views near Eryri Snowdonia

Jim is a very thoughtful and responsive host, and we enjoyed staying at his cosy cottage. It’s well set up for cooking, though take aways and supermarkets are a short drive away. It’s cosy and not hard to heat if the weather gets cool.

The property was in a fantastic location, with beautiful views from the bedroom window. We were 30 or so minutes drive from amazing places like Snowdon, the rest of the Eyri park, the coast. The property itself has everything you need for a stay; comfortable bed, fresh linen, equipped kitchen, and lots of space for two people. Lots of information leaflets too. It was also lovely that Jim had left milk and a cake when we arrived. A lovely touch.

The only thing I would negatively say about is the dogs barking in one of the neighbouring houses, totally out of Jim’s control. And solvable with ear plugs. I didn’t notice once I popped mine in.

The cottage was perfect, nothing to dislike, it was clean, had everything you needed and more, even towels, tea towels, washing up liquid were provided, there was a selection of books and dvds, maps and leaflets, property was warm, shower was great, internet was very good and fast, peaceful, had a garden to sit out in, Host was very good and provided tea, coffee, sugar, cake and milk which was lovely and very kind. There was nothing to dislike, we had a fantastic stay at the cottage wish we’d stayed longer!would recommend, we went on beautiful walks and picked up a different takeaway for tea each night from the next village, which were all very nice, Chinese, Indian, kebab, chippy

The cottage was lovely, had everything we needed, we could easily get to the places we wanted to visit by car, and the host was very helpful.

Great location, very comfortable cosy cottage with stunning mountain view’s. Amazing walks just outside the cottage at the slate quarry.

The road the cottage is on is a little difficult to get in and out of when all the neighbors are around. Totally not the fault of the cottage, just be ready for some tricky reversing and multi-point turns.

Easy to get to nearby town and Snowdonia.

Quite difficult to manoeuvre car into parking as very narrow road.
