North Wales Cosy Cottage with views near Eryri Snowdonia

The cottage is charming, clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. A great base for exploring North Wales, and a lovely place to come home to and relax at the end of days filled with beaches, mountains and sight seeing.

Mattress is on the firm side, but this is personal preference. Roads up to the cottage are narrow and parking is tight, but I got used to it quickly and it wouldn't stop me from booking again.

It’s a complete home from home. A comfortable, every essential included for a self catering week, in a perfectly located spot for exploring all that Snowdonia, the Llyn Peninsula, north coasts and Anglesey has to offer, house. Roads are very well connected. Penygroes has a coop and two takeaways (we had a decent Indian one eve), and a very good winery / cafe almost on the doorstep. Views are amazing too from the upstairs and garden. Jim the host was also extremely virtually ‘on hand’ and left us cake and tea making provisions on arrival. Can agree with all other comments.

Yes the road leading up has some very narrow turns at the end but it’s manageable and you get used to it. And the house next door does rather let down the whole terrace for decor, and there is a little bit of animal noise (chickens and small dogs, thankfully our dog ignored it), so it caused no issues.

The facilities and location were perfect!

The cottage is cute, with well equipped kitchen. The living room is cosy with log burner, which we absolutely loved. The communication with the owner was amazing, he answered all questions, was in touch before and during our stay, offering support. The bedroom is spacious with a comfy bed. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do: walked around quarries (within walking distance), hiked some hills down the road (only 20 mins in the car), did parkrun on the beach (half an hr away). It was fab and relaxing.

I think the only thing that cannot be helped was the narrow roads leading to the cottage. But the cottage was well worth this!

Good location and everything in the property that was needed. Wood burner for colder evenings was lovely , heating system worked very well

Did smell a little damp on first entry but did not affect the stay

Location as we were visiting friends,walks around quarry,snowden and coastal walks and a decent pub close enough

Weather, duvet a bit heavy for me but partner loved it
