Detached one bedroom house near to castle and cathedral

Everything you need is at hand. Lovely decor, very clean and comfortable. Free parking outside which is always a bonus. Thoughtful touch leaving milk and loaf. Excellent communication with the owners. Close to all amenities. I have stayed here before and the experience is always lovely and will certainly be returning.

There is nothing i didn't like. I know reports made in the comments book about shower needing fixing as running scalding hot. However, I took it from the holder and let it run close to the drain so that I could adjust the temperature accordingly.

Quirky and very clean and well presented. Everything we needed. Location was good overall within a terraced side street - about 15min walk to the minster square and pretty Bailgate area.

Unfortunately the plumbing let the property down. The electric shower was very temperamental and there was a fairly strong smell from under the kitchen sink. The host was informed and was going to get a plumber in when we had left. Hopefully sorted now.

Beautiful bijou house. Central, but quiet location. Everything required, avaliable for our stay. Walking distance to Cathedral and castle, with free street parking next to house. Very comfortable, and cleaned to high standard. Would loved to have stayed longer.

Close to the castle, within walking distance to local shops and takeaways. Cosy, perfect for a weekend away. Welcome pack provided which is always a lovely gesture. Would stay again.

The parking could be a problem. The shower was difficult to get the right temperature, ran extremely hot at times. Could do with a new one that is easy to use. Bathroom downstairs which some people may not like and was opposite the kitchen. No information regarding bins and the ones provided where very small.

Loved everything about it.

Just need to replace the light bulb on the stairs.

Location good and the house clean. Tim and Rosina were easy to contact and helpful. It was good to have milk in the fridge on arrival.

Been there before, love the house and location, be booking again next year.

The key safe is high up the wall when you are only 4ft 11 , but manageable.
