Quaint 2 Bedroom Chester City Cottage

All as shown. Parking near by. 5 minutes and in centre and at city walls. Everything you need for a short city break.

The beds were extremely comfortable and a great night's sleep....

A door curtain would be advisable to shield the draughts from around the front door when sitting in the living room....(This property is a walk in off the street, straight into the living room) The fire in the living room didn't work, as there was no control knob to turn the fire on....The central heating was on when we arrived and was obviously on a timer and went off earlier than we would have liked....As we weren't familiar with the boiler we didn't want to mess with it to much but struggled to override the timer to have it on constant.....So a manual / instructions would have been helpful....A previous review on booking.com for 30th Oct 24 referred to the bath panel being cracked.... The door handle to the back yard coming off in your hand (Potential Fire 🔥 Hazard).....One of the freezer compartment drawers had a frozen spillage in it.....And these obviously hadn't been addressed as we stayed Saturday 14th Dec 24 for 1 night and these issues were still needing attention....The 4pm check in we thought was a bit late and Check out is 11am and you are not even getting 24hrs in the property.... overall it was an Adequate stay....

Location was fab and the house felt so cosy. Beds very comfortable 😀
