Quaint 2 Bedroom Chester City Cottage

The bedrooms were great, very comfy beds. Location (5 mins walk to train station and town centre) was perfect for us.

Downstairs was quite dirty (lots of cobwebs), clearly damp running through the place (wallpaper was peeling off) and kitchen was in a state of disrepair with one door dropping off without anything touching it.

I don't feel like the property matched the description on booking.com. Upon arrival and using the bathroom, the lock fell off and when we opened a kitchen cupboard door it fell off. There were marks all over the kitchen walls and paint peeling off the wall in the dining room and stairs. The lock on the back door appeared to be damaged and made me feel uneasy about being safe. There was also a large crack on the side of the bath.

Do not book the bathroom all moldy, untidy all the walls are dirty kitchen draws falling off had a really bad smell when we walked in screws hanging out the walls still awaiting a refund the pictures look nothing like what you turn up to

Paying for parking and not having a permit in the house, they must get one from council tax

Excellent location, cosy cottage, everything we needed was on hand, shops a 5 minute walk away, bedrooms are gorgeous & beds super comfy

In need of a spruce up, bathroom is very tired looking, Teeny back yard that's pretty grim, was an absolute glorious weekend but nowhere to sit & enjoy the sunshine

Close to all amenities Comfy beds Quiet street, plenty of room for 4 adults.

Really struggled getting front door open. Bathroom a bit shabby and its also downstairs which isn't great if you get up in middle of the night! Also resident parking, but luckily there was a car park at the end of the street which only cost £9 for 48 hrs.
