Quaint 2 Bedroom Chester City Cottage

The cottage is beautiful and the hosts have thought of everything, as soon as you walk in you feel at home. We couldn’t asked for anything more.

It was very modern upstairs and it was in a perfect location Quiet road Car park was handy Lovely little cottage perfect for a night or two

Bathroom needed a good clean or new bathroom as it was quite dated compared to rest of house The whole house probably needed a freshen up with paint Door in kitchen was hanging off Landing light didn’t work (elderly mother in law stopped with us so had to keep dining room light on so she didn’t fall in night as light didn’t work)

The property was nice and warm on arrival and very clean and tidy on the inside .

The kitchen was difficult to manoeuvre especially when we had to use the bathroom as this was the only route , not enough kitchen utensils, the secondary kitchen door was hanging off when you opened it ,the bath in the bathroom was cracked , it did seem that damp was starting to appear in the bathroom , also the panels in the under sink unit were broken. the bedroom floorboards upstairs are very squeaky and the fire place in the living room did not work . I would also recommend maybe a token carton of milk upon guest arrival for a cup of tea .the property also feels a lot smaller than the pictures would suggest . Also please be aware , parking is not available outside the property but there are 2 car parks 5 mins walk away , one is book via the internet, the other is pay by card or cash which we paid £5. As all my other ventures and stays , photos were taken and a video .

Location to city centre was good, only a 5 minute walk. The bed was comfortable and the area is quiet, though it is a terraced street. No parking onsite but the car park nearby was reasonably priced.

Smaller than expected. (Should have realised that re the title quaint) there were 4 adults and it was just enough room. Kitchen is very small.

Good location, large cheap car park just around the corner. Property is clean but a bit scruffy as needs some renovating.

Beds smaller than advertised and not very comfy. Kitchen and bathroom pretty scruffy. Loads of light bulbs need replacing in the property. Basically it needs a bit of TLC. If the owners put in a bit of effort it could be such a great place.
