Good location, only 10 minutes walk into the city, and in a quiet spot. The beds were very comfy and warm, with great bedding. The cottage was warm, the thermostat easy to operate. The hot water was instant.

The toilet didn't flush properly, we had to adjust the lever in the cistern. The 2nd bed wasn't a proper double, it was only a 4ft bed, which isn't in the listing, slightly uncomfortable for full grown adults. I'd say the cottage would be better suited for 2 adults, and 2 children. No parking at the property, which it says there is, but car park only a 5 minute walk away, and fairly cheap. The front door could do with some sort of insulation round it as there is a noticeable gap down the edge, and there was a cold draught blowing through (we stayed in March) I would also replace the uncomfy sofas, but I do like to lounge in my down time, and they were a bit stiff and cramped for 4 people. The cottage really just needs a little TLC, bits of damp sorting out, and the listing amended, and it would be the perfect stay.

Cosy, comfortable, quiet little terraced house approx 15 mins walk from the centre of Chester. Nicely refurbished and well equipped and dog friendly.

No parking at the property (public car park less than 5 mins walk away but had to pay).
